In Tune With Your Intuition

Ever noticed how most of us make decisions in life. Usually it is a well-thought decision based on logical reasoning and questioning and sometimes we land up asking for a second, a third or a forth opinion! We’ve been told – Haste makes waste. Look before you leap. Stop and Think. Don’t judge a book by its cover. But then, why sometimes do these decisions not turn out the way we wanted them to? They sometimes just don’t feel right. That’s because we fail to listen to that inner voice, which gets lost in that the clutter of make-believe ideas that have been entrusted upon us by society, our previous experiences and our inability to be in tune with our intuition.
Coaching is such a powerful approach that empowers an individual to believe in himself/herself, to develop self trust in such a manner that one feels confident and content with the decisions he/she takes for self. It’s about how one can nurture self efficacy, become self aware and practice self care. Listening to that strong inner self that will always carve and lead the way to your goal at the time and pace you want.
But I must confess that, sometimes it’s difficult to differentiate between intuition and what our conscious mind wants us to believe. Our unconscious mind though a powerful force, is fallible. We sometimes want something so badly that we manifest it or let it influence our intuition on one hand. And on the other, we live in a world where the quality of our decision is based on the time and effort we’ve put in to come to a conclusion. Research and several studies have pointed out that decisions made in a few seconds can be just as right as decision made after much pondering and rationalizing.
Health and Wellness Coaching uses various tools and techniques which help you tap into your inner strengths and after taking both your rational and intuitive self into account to reach a decision. Most of the things we desire for ourselves stem from our visioning of the perfect version of ourselves and most of the answers to our doubts lie deep within. Entering that space and reaching a degree of realisation, thinking about topics or subjects that might have slipped their way through instils the self belief that we have been longing for.
Albert Einstein once beautifully said, ” The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift. ”
