I am an orthodontist. I do braces treatment for people. And many people when they reach me, I started observing that they have all kinds of problems...that they will be complaining about that might be a small and big issue. It is a part of my profession, also to keep them calm and say that you are all good…the job is not done there, we have to step ahead and counsel them …on how they can remain happy…So the health and wellness certification is only on similar grounds. Being a wellness expert adds value and enhances my current profession also. Dealing with the public, and meeting their expectations which they have from me is not just cosmetically treating their teeth. The course has a holistic approach dealing with public or client, and that is what I wanted; how to deal with them is important which this course helped me in to behave and how to be with others.
After the program, you find a version of yourself. The way I used to think definitely changed. Before (the certificate program) the decision-making part did not happen. I used to prioritize the opinion of others than mine. I learned advantages and disadvantages then only I take a decision (now); better planning action; I believe in myself (now). Showing empathy builds up (client rapport). We try to understand why people are developing any bad habits. You develop a positive attitude and mitigate mistakes.
