As a certified Health and Wellness Coach, Preeti Rao will be working with leading doctors in the Cardiology Department at Max Super Specialty Hospital, Saket, where she will offer lifestyle intervention programs for improving cardiovascular health and a better quality of life to patients. She will be consulting with patients pre-surgery as well as post surgery, to help them make better choices when it comes to nutrition, exercise, stress management and addiction management. Preeti Rao will be working with each and every individual patient to help them assess life goals as well as create a unique individual and lifestyle plan based on behavioral changes. Preeti will be working in close partnership with the patients as well as leading cardiologists to work on an integrated health program for cardiac care from a holistic angle.
Preeti bring a strong core experience as a certified wellness coach, where she encourages patients to re-look at their lifestyle health and wellness choices through a combination of exercise physiology, nutrition, as well as integrated and complementary medicine. She has a unique insight into healthy aging and global health systems, modern and alternative medical practices and has done extensive wellness coaching for individuals as well as corporates. Preeti aims at bridging the gap between doctors and patients by offering a holistic self care approach. Preeti’s career path spanning a decade in executive management roles across several countries has provided her an understanding of the global health care system crisis and the importance of preventive strategies in health promotion. Her Masters in Integrated Health Studies from the California Institute of Integral Studies, US has enabled her to blend scientific rigor with holistic self-care with emphasis on mind/body/spirit wholeness.
